Join the Resistance Against Violence!
The road to freedom begins by seeing the hidden violence behind statism. After answering the three questions below, if you agree that violence will never set us free, then I implore you to join The Resistance and sign the Freedom Petition. Your signature shows the world that you are not afraid to draw your moral line in your community against all acts of violence.
How is statism immoral? Simply answer these few questions to find out:
1. In your day-to-day life, do you use violence to solve your personal problems? Violence defined as placing a person in an involuntary position without their consent or choice, i.e., rape, murder, theft, and assault. All violations of personal property rights.
2. If you said “no,” then with the exception of self-defense of yourself and others, would it be wrong and immoral to initiate that violence onto others? Self-defense is not violence; it’s self preservation. You have the right to defend yourself and others. Property rights begins with owning yourself, owning your body, and owning your actions.
3. If you said “yes,” would you then agree that it is wrong and immoral to violently force your ideas onto other people?
Then, if it is wrong and immoral to initiate the use violence on another human being to solve social problems, how is voting any different? How is spanking children any different? And how is the state any different?
There is one, and only one way, that the state (a monopoly of force) knows how to solve problems in society, and that’s through violence. It’s a system that solves problems through the use and threat of force (laws & police), in which the only way the system can sustain and fund itself is through more violence via extortion (taxes).
Remove the state, and no one, not even businesses (corporations will cease to exist when there are no legal laws to shield owners from personal liability) will have access to a system that would enable them or have the opportunity to use violence on people. There is no example in history where a business was able to violently take over a country without the assistance and support of a government. Only governments can fund and support armies.
Anarchy (rules without rulers), is the complete and exact opposite of the state (rulers); in that it offers a plurality of non-violent and voluntary solutions to problems via the free market. Therefore, the only real alternative to a system that has only one oppressive solution – violence – to solve problems in society would be anarchy. And if you answered “no, yes, and yes” to the questions above, then it shows that for the most part, you’re already a practicing anarchist.
It’s time we Liberate RVA instead of occupying it with more statist ideas.
Liberate our communities from the idea that violence will set us free!
