University Student Commons
Tyler Lloyd will be hosting The Conspiracy Club gathering on the second floor of the University Student Commons at VCU.
This is a nonpartisan organization to critically analyze fringe beliefs within political and social philosophy. There are no conspiracies we indorse, but we aim to become well-informed in those beliefs termed “Conspiracy Theories”. Through analytical practice and avid research we hope to understand conspiracies and the effects they have on individuals, as well as the society at large. Club meetings are welcome to all, so feel free to bring any conspiracy you have heard of or found interesting. Also in an effort to inspire creative writing we will hold workshops to create original conspiracy theories. By exploring this material The Conspiracy Club hopes to canonize common conspiracy theories while adding to the vast material of conspiracy fiction. Regardless of an individual’s stance on conspiracy theory all are welcome to express themselves freely while exploring the alternatives to mainstream beliefs.
